Why we went out on our own.
Between us we have got fifteen years fitting windows, doors and conservatories, most of it for other people. In April 2026 we set up L&D Bespoke Glazing and started doing it for ourselves. The company is new. We are not.
The reason we did it is the reason people keep writing the same things in our reviews. When you fit for somebody else there is a salesman between you and the customer, and a price that has a showroom in it. Doing it ourselves means the person who measures your opening is the person who screws the frame in, and there is nobody in the middle putting pressure on either of us.
Bespoke is in the name because it is the actual job. You pick the style, the colour and the glass, we measure it to your opening, and we tell you honestly what will look right on your house. That is a conversation, not a catalogue.
